What are you doing today?


Activity 1: Kick Start 

Learn 

 Create

  • Draw a picture of you and your whānau doing one of the activities on slide 5. Label it with the sentence that tells people what you are doing.
Share 
  • Share your slide deck and a screenshot of your picture on your blog
  • Share your slide deck on your blog. Remember to describe what you learnt, what was fun and what was challenging.


 Activity 2: Step It Up 

Learn 

  • Open your copy of the Slidedeck from the Kick Start Activity
  • Practise your pronunciation again
  • Watch the video and learn some greetings or farewells for your sentences

 Create 

  • Make a Screencastify of you and someone else at home asking and answering the question, “What are you doing today?” in Te Reo Māori.
  • Use Screencastify 
Share 
  • Share your slide deck and your Screencastify on your blog (remember to make sure everyone has permission to view the video). Think about what you can teach others with your DLO and blog post.

      This is Neha from Edmund Hillary School. I just want to say that the audio is not working for me and because of that I can't answer the question on slide 5. Could you please check audio for me so I can see if it works and finish my work. Thank you.

      1. Kia ora Neha, For the Kick Start choose one of the activities on slide 5 to draw a picture of you and your whānau doing this (or you could also take a photo) and share on your blog. For the Step it up activity make a Screencastify of you and someone else at home asking and answering the question, “What are you doing today?” in Te Reo Māori.
        If you see a speaker icon on the slide, move your curser over the speaker until you see the play button.
