Gliding Time

Activity 1: Kick Start 

Learn 

Create

  • Build a glider out of recycled materials.

  • Test your glider.

  • Whether your glider flies or doesn't fly take a photo of it. 

  • Insert your photo in a Google Draw 
  • Use text boxes and arrows to label parts of your Glider to help readers learn about what worked or what didn't work and why your glider flew or did not fly.

 Activity 2: Step It Up 

Learn 


Create 

  • Plan a design for another glider that you think will fly. Use any recycled materials you can find.

  • Draw your design on paper or on your Chromebook.

  • Save an image of your plan to share on your blog later.

  • Test your glider and video what happens.
  • Write or record yourself talking about why your glider flew or did not fly.

 Share

  • Share your video on your blog
  • Upload the image of your design 
  • If you write about  why your glider flew or did not fly, add your text in your blog post too.
