My name is Renee and I am from the Summer Learning Journey Team. Ka pai for your work on this excellent poem. Birdsong definitely reminds me of summer in New Zealand so I could really relate to your poem. Did you happen to spot any of the birds you could hear singing when you were outside? What did they look like?

I love summer because I love spending time outside - whether that be at the beach or in the bush tramping. What are your favourite activities to do in the summer?

Did you find this activity fun or challenging? Have you written poems before?

Ngā mihi nui and keep up the excellent mahi I can't wait to see your other posts over the summer!

My name is Renee and I am from the Summer Learning Journey Team. Wow, ka pai for your hard work on wiring a song chorus Kaylah - you have done a fantastic job writing your own original lyrics and then recording yourself using Screencastify. Have you written songs before or is this your first time?
You have done such a wonderful job that I would not be surprised if you have had a bit of experience! Because you have completed both the “Kick Start” and “Step it Up” aspects of this activity you have earned extra points towards your Summer Learning Journey tally - which is really awesome!

What inspired you to write a song about a baby wolf? Do you know any interesting facts about wolves that you would like to share with your fellow bloggers? They are very cute but I have to admit I don't know that much about them!

Mā te wā - keep up the excellent mahi, I can’t wait to see your other posts over the summer!

      Renee (SLJ)
